Towergate Insurance has declared that it is to be the only provider of business insurance for Confused.com, the price comparison website.
Business insurance customers will be provided with a broad range of insurance by Towergate under the Confused.com brand, including restaurants, surgeries and liability, amongst others.
The Guildford specialist commercial contact centre operation of Your Insurance, which is owned by Towergate, will deal with enquiries.
Managing Director of Your Insurance Robert Rees said that the firm provided excellent value and an impressive product portfolio for Confused.com, adding that the announcement was another significant step in the firms online ambitions.
This is not the first deal of its nature for the insurer, which in December 2010 signed an agreement with comparethemarket.com whereby the insurer provided the websites SME customers with insurance, with the business handled by Your Insurance.
